Letter to Myself
2 years ago I wrote a letter to myself while I was in Uruguay. I postmarked on the envelop for January 2010 and today was the day i opened it.
In the letter I reminded myself what I wanted to be doing, and what I want to have accomplished. It’s fun to see what I have done and what I still need to do. I forgot how funny I used to be, this was my opening line.
” Jake What’s up man? Are you still good looking? I’m sure you are. I hope the years treat us nicely and that we’re still doing good and that we’re happy. I think we will be.”
I’m happy to report that I am happy and that I’m still on track to where I’m going and who I wanna be. To those few peeps reading this, write a letter to yourself and open it up on a couple years. It’s so cool receiving a letter from your past self. It’s worth the effort and the wait.
